Every woman has thought about goals for themselves at one time or another.  The difficulty in not reaching your goals comes from failure to follow through with your plans to reach those goals.  They become elusive and never completed.  This negative cycle can change.  Begin to think positive and make 2012 the year you will acquire your desired goals. Re-energize your zest for life!

Life coaches know that the process of setting goals for ourselves and reaching those goals are very important for success in life.  Clear goals are essential to reach your potential in the future.  For the best results take time to sit quietly and contemplate what you would like to accomplish by the end of 2012 and beyond.  By writing out your goals you will put your thoughts into physical reality.  They will be entered into your subconscious.

Typically clients write out their goals for the present time, six months, one year, five years and ten years. They are encouraged to create a written plan of action and the preparation they need to reach their goals.  Additional useful steps to reach your goals include:

– Envision what you want.
– List the benefits you will achieve from reaching your goals.
– Make your goals a strong personal desire.
– Strategize how your life will be different when goals are reached.
– Work out time frames to accomplish each goal.
– Interview others who have attained the goals you desire.
– Remain focused on your goals.
– Persevere, don’t quit and stay committed.

Creating positive affirmations and assuming you are already in the situation you want can be effective to manifest your personal goals and aspirations.  It is powerful to visualize yourself completely reaching your goals.  Finally, ask yourself what you really want in life?  Some examples for desired goals may be for material items like a home or a car.  You may seek success in love and relationships.  Educational and professional goals are very common.  Of course health and well being is a very popular goal, as are spiritual goals.  Choose your goals realistically.  Identify what you want and be specific.  One way to fall short of reaching your goals is to choose them unrealistically. Remember, a woman’s destiny and success is within her own mind and so is the pursuit of her dreams and goals for life.
