Program Details: Comprehensive course including corporate wellness and health promotion concepts, motivational strategies, scope of practice, health care cost reduction strategies, legal responsibilities and limitations in the workplace, list of assessment tools and techniques and business models for wellness coaching. This course will provide the experienced fitness, wellness, psychology, human resources or coaching professional with all the needed tools to facilitate effective corporate wellness and health promotion program.
Testing: Comprehensive multiple choice exam is taken at home and mailed to the Spencer Institute offices for grading and approval.
Details about your project: Comprehensive analysis of an existing corporate wellness program. The analysis should include an outline, followed by a step-by-step analysis of the program. This project can be completed at a distance, or while the student is gainfully employed or serving an internship. The methods of research may include phone interviews, internet searches, event analysis, review of collateral materials, or any combination of the above. Current employment in corporate wellness or health promotion is not needed to complete this project.
