Each Spencer Institute Certification is valid for (2) two years.

You are required to complete 2.0 units (20 hours) of CEUs (continuing education credits) to keep your certification valid.

A new and updated certification will be issued, which is valid for two more years.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you holds multiple Spencer Institute certifications, you are only required to complete enough CEUs for a single Spencer Institute certification. The CEUs can be applied to all Spencer Institute certifications you have earned.

NOTE: The Spencer Institute Executive Certification Board recently changed the recertification policy from (4) four years to a (2) two year certification policy. Students who have purchased or completed any Spencer Institute certification on or prior to 8/10/2009, will remain under the (4) four year recertification guidelines.

To obtain your 4-year recertification you are required to complete 4.0 units (40 hours) of CEUs (continuing education credits). Please review the 4-Year Recertification Guide for further details. A new and updated certification(s) will be issued, which is valid for four more years.
