How Coaches Are Reeling In The Majority Of Their Clients Now

March 18, 2019 by Liz Carter

How Coaches Are Reeling In The Majority Of Their Clients NowThere are two types of coaches in the world:

One works hard day in and day out, working on their craft but never seeming to gain traction with a client base. The other seamlessly sweeps new clients off their feet and builds a consistent, steady clientele over time.

What’s the difference between the two?

One is working harder. The other is working smarter.

You see, the key to gaining a solid client base as a coach comes down to one thing alone…

People trust in your expertise.

So how do you build that trust and reputation with your prospects?

It’s simple: All you have to do is talk about your craft. You can do this through information sessions, a YouTube channel, a podcast, and the easiest way is through a blog.

People want to do business with someone they perceive as being an expert in their field. By having a solid base of content and resources that people can look at and learn from, they automatically trust in your expertise, thus making them more likely to contact you to set up a coaching session.

Here are 4 reasons why setting up a blog is your best shot at gaining new clients:

March 8, 2019 by Liz Carter

attract-coaching-clients-on-linkedin-spencer-instituteIt’s 2019 and health and fitness professionals are on the rise because of the increased demand in the marketplace.

The competition for new clients is growing as time goes on, so as a health and fitness professional, you need to make sure you are finding the exact places where your prospective clients hang out online.

The typical spots are getting crowded. Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and so on. But there’s just one place that is shockingly not being infiltrated as much as it should be…

LinkedIn.

If you aren’t on LinkedIn (just signing up doesn’t count), then you’re missing out on a huge slice of the client pie.

It’s the hottest social media network to tap into in 2019 if you’re wanting to let the floodgates open to new clients. 84% of LinkedIn users say they’ve received several business opportunities through the platform (as studied in the Sales and LinkedIn Study).

3 Ways to Get New Clients Now

December 27, 2018 by Liz Carter

3 Ways to Get New Clients Now
Although there are endless ways to get clients, there are 3 ways to get clients NOW.
The first does not require any special technical skills or training.  It just requires you to take action.
Here it is…  Ask everyone you know if they know of someone who will benefit from your services. Yep, that’s it.  And, don’t have a cookie cutter answer for each comment or question.
Think about how you can specifically help that person they want to refer.  Ask thought-provoking questions about what they have done prior, why things may or may not have worked, and what they are ready to do now to get the results or outcome they desire.
REMEMBER, the person you are asking to refer a friend may be the one who becomes a new client.

Student Success Stories

Becoming a Certified Life Strategies Coach at the Spencer Institute has been a great way for me to grow my coaching business. I really liked that I could work full time while learning life coaching on my own time schedule. Now I have coaching clients, and also attract more psychotherapy clients who choose me because I can offer coaching in addition to psychotherapy.
