July 21, 2021 by Liz Carter

The body has many separate parts but ultimately (and ideally) works as a fluid system. Paying attention to the various components of human physiology helps all the parts work together fluidly; leading to more complete wellness.

Picking a Target Market for Your Coaching Business

July 2, 2019 by Liz Carter

How do you reach your target market? It feels counterintuitive to specialize instead of generalizing, but coaches who niche down end up making more money. The trick is to choose a niche correctly. Generalizing will hurt your business in the long run.

It is not helpful or necessary to try to appeal to everyone.

Two important questions to ask yourself when choosing a niche market are:

  1. Who you want to help.
  2. What you want to help them do.

Once these two questions are answered, you are on your way.

Benefits of Antioxidants and Minerals for Your ClientsAntioxidants

Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in our foods which can prevent or slow the oxidative damage to our body. When our body cells use oxygen, they naturally produce free radicals (by-products) which can cause damage. Every person wants to live a healthy and happy life, but most of us are careless in many useful things which helps us to improve our health and daily life. Apart from healthy eating habits, proper sleep is one of the most important things to be healthy, fresh and happy.

Sleep hygiene is a practice or habit which follows a proper schedule for sleep which is necessary for the daytime alertness. It also includes the behaviors and rituals towards the sleep or in a simple way it is your approach towards the sleep.

Your Brain Does Not Process Negatives

April 15, 2019 by Liz Carter

If your clients are more focused on what they don’t want, instead of what they do want, they will most likely be getting exactly what they don’t want. You can’t think about what you don’t want to think about without thinking about it.  Think about it; better yet, don’t think about it, and you’ll get my point.

If your clients are more focused on what they don’t want, instead of what they do want, they will most likely be getting just that – exactly what they don’t want.

The Athlete who is constantly focusing on ‘not losing’ will typically lose more than the athlete who consistently focuses on ‘always winning’.

How Sleep Affects Appetite | Sleep Science

How Sleep Affects AppetiteHow Sleep Affects Appetite

Having an adequate, high-quality, restful sleep is an important part of adhering to healthy eating plans. Metabolic problems associated with overeating include high body mass index (BMI) and long-term health risks like obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and some types of cancer. The National Sleep Foundation recommends that adults aged 18-64 years should have sleep duration of 7-9 hours every day (Hirshkowitz, Whiton & Albert et al., 2015).

Sleep-related problems can affect how our bodies regulate food intake and can increase hunger and our appetite to eat more food.

attract-coaching-clients-on-linkedin-spencer-instituteIt’s 2019 and health and fitness professionals are on the rise because of the increased demand in the marketplace.

The competition for new clients is growing as time goes on, so as a health and fitness professional, you need to make sure you are finding the exact places where your prospective clients hang out online.

The typical spots are getting crowded. Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and so on. But there’s just one place that is shockingly not being infiltrated as much as it should be…

If you aren’t on LinkedIn (just signing up doesn’t count), then you’re missing out on a huge slice of the client pie.

It’s the hottest social media network to tap into in 2019 if you’re wanting to let the floodgates open to new clients. 84% of LinkedIn users say they’ve received several business opportunities through the platform (as studied in the Sales and LinkedIn Study).
