Policies and pricing are subject to change without prior notice.
Upon clicking on the the Complete Order button and successful payment completion, you will be automatically enrolled into your course(s) and your username and password will be emailed to you. It may take up to 5 minutes to receive. We appreciate your patience in advance. Check all email folders for the login email.
Refund Eligibility

We want you to be confident in your purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund within 3 business days of purchase. Here’s how:
- Contact us within 3 business days: Simply send an email using our Contact form or call us at 1-877-348-6692.
- Full refund upon eligibility verification: Once we confirm you haven’t accessed any course materials or taken exams, we’ll issue a full refund.
Please note:
- Refunds are not available after 3 business days from purchase.
- If you’ve taken any course exams (regardless of passing or failing), refunds cannot be processed.
- Payment plans over 30 days old from the original purchase date are not eligible for this guarantee.
Certificate Delivery
- Free digital certificate: All students who successfully pass the certificate exam will receive a complimentary digital certificate to download and print.
- Printed certificates:
- Free within North America: We offer free printed certificates for students within North America.
- International shipping: Printed certificates can be shipped internationally for an additional fee. Contact our support department for shipping quote.
We are not responsible for postal delays or non-delivery of your certificate once it leaves the United States Postal Service.
Recertification Requirements
All Spencer Institute certifications are valid for (2) two years. The graduate is required to complete 2.0 units (20 hours) of CEUs (continuing education credits) to keep their certification valid. Please review the 2-Year Recertification Guide for further details.
Digital Downloads and Online Learning Program Terms
Upon logging in to our online learning managment system the user has read and agreed to the policies as provided prior placing the order.
Live Training Cancellations
Any cancellation within 5 days of the event will result in a 20% cancellation fee. No exceptions. You may withdrawal from the program after the first day and receive a 50% refund. No refunds after the first day. Live training workshops may require additional projects or testing to earn your certification.
Convenient Payment Options
We offer a variety of secure payment methods for your convenience:
- Credit Cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
- Debit Cards: Most major debit cards are accepted.
- Company Checks: Purchase orders over $1,000 require company checks. For submission instructions, please contact us.
Please note:
- We do not currently accept personal checks, wire transfers, or money orders.
- All programs must be prepaid in full certificate is released.
EU customers: Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), EU regulations implemented on March 14, 2022, may cause declined credit card transactions. If you’re having trouble with a credit card order, please try purchasing via PayPal.
Flexible Payment Options
We understand that budgeting for education can be challenging. That’s why we offer flexible payment plans for select programs. Here’s how it works:
- Eligibility: Payment plans are available for specific programs only. You’ll see the option clearly displayed during checkout if applicable.
- Automatic Billing: If you choose a payment plan, your credit card will be automatically charged every 30 days until the program is fully paid. We’ll send you a reminder email beforehand.
- Payment Details: The specific duration and total amount of the payment plan will be clearly outlined on the program page.
- Important Reminders:
- Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Defaulting on any payment will result in termination of program access. Paid amounts will not be refunded in case of default.

Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Spencer Institute be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, from the use of the information provided in our business development programs, educational products, or consulting services.
For purposes of this section, Spencer Institute shall include the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association, Spencer Institute Enterprises, Inc and its divisions, subsidiaries, successors, parent companies, and their employees, contractors, partners, principals, agents, and representatives, and any third-party providers or sources of information or data.
Program Transfers or Exchanges
No exchanges or program transfers are permitted at anytime.
Gift Certificates must be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible programs on www.spencerinstitute.com. Purchases are deducted from the Gift Certificate balance. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient’s account as Store Credit when redeemed to use for future use. If an order exceeds the amount of the Gift Certificate, the balance must be paid with a credit card.
- Gift Certificates cannot be used to purchase other gift certificates.
- Gift Certificates cannot be resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash or applied to any other account, except to the extent required by law. Unused Gift Certificate balances may not be transferred or redeemable in cash.
- Gift Certificate recipients will have up to five years from the Gift Certificate issued date to redeem towards the purchase of eligible programs on www.spencerinstitute.com
The risk of loss and title for Spencer Institute Gift Certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the purchaser, recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if a Spencer Institute Gift Certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.Fraud
Spencer Institute will have the right to close student accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on www.spencerinstitute.com

Ordering
You may order secure online 24 hours a day! You will receive all the material and benefits shown for that program when you place your order. Program materials will be sent after check has cleared. Credit card orders will be accessed immediately. Complete the form with the STUDENTS mailing address and personal information. Any fraudulent use of a credit card is punishable to the fullest extent of the law.
Discounts or Sale Pricing Offers
Offers given after a program has been purchased will not be adjusted. Pricing is “as listed” at the time of purchase. No credits or adjustments will be issued after a program is purchased.
Retest Fees
Students who did not meet the exam passing requirements may retake the exam again. If the student does not pass after the second try, the student will be responsible to pay a $95 retesting fee and will receive two additional attempts at the exam.
Administration Fees
If a student requires additional documentation from Spencer Institute (copy of certification, verification of certification, transcripts etc.) the student will be responsible to pay $25 for additional assistance outside of the normal customer support assistance.
Discontinued Programs
Spencer Institute cannot replace programs that are no longer in production or have been discontinued. The certificate will continued to be honored by cannot be replaced if the certificate is lost or stolen.
Lost or Stolen Digital Files
Spencer Institute is not responsible or required by law to replace any lost or stolen digital files.
Privacy Policy
Spencer Institute will not discuss a student’s account with anyone other than the student, unless the student provides permission in writing. Limited student information (verifying membership or graduate) information can be released to an employer unless the student has requested to seal their records.
Spencer Institute will NOT release the following information to anyone other than the student:
* Student contact information (email, address, phone number, etc.)
* Exam scores
* Payment information
* Student history
Students can opt-out of our verification program and keep their records sealed at anytime. Please email our customer service department.
Periodically, we will distribute an email or direct mail to let you know about local workshops, new programs, and special announcements.

When you order any SPENCER INSTITUTE (or NESTA, Inc) educational or business program, you accept and agree to adhere to the SPENCER INSTITUTE Code of Ethics. You hereby certify that the information given to SPENCER INSTITUTE is true, complete and correct. You further understand if any of this information is later determined to be false, SPENCER INSTITUTE reserves the right to revoke any certification (or certificate) that has been granted on the basis hereof. You further understand that SPENCER INSTITUTE certification does not certify or in any way guarantee the quality of your work as an SPENCER INSTITUTE-certified professional. You therefore agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPENCER INSTITUTE , its officers, directors and staff from any claims due to negligence, omission or faulty advice that you may give to clients as a SPENCER INSTITUTE-certified professional. You understand that SPENCER INSTITUTE is not responsible for any actions or damages from any person arising out of my work as an SPENCER INSTITUTE-certified professional.
