How You Can Make Money Helping Clients Relieve Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Phobias

Most people have experienced some type of anxiety, panic attacks, unreasonable fears, and paralyzing phobias at some point in their lives.  In some cases, there is a stigma associated with these feelings or emotions.  There are cases when these things should be treated by a licensed psychotherapist.  You will learn to know when to refer.  In most cases, you can significantly help these people as a Certified Results Coach, which has proven methodologies for safely, ethically, and effectively reducing or eliminating anxiety, panic attacks, excessive fears, and phobias ranging from spiders to flying in an airplane.

Can Coaching Help with Anxiety?

Having to deal with these emotional challenges can be overwhelming or even debilitating to some people.  In other cases, it just holds them back from enjoying all that life has to offer. In extreme cases, medical intervention and even hospitalization are warranted.  In most cases, people feel frustrated that their beliefs keep them from adventures, new experiences, new relationships, or pursuing new sports.  These are the people who are helped most easily with the results coaching process.

Our researchers, counselors, coaches, and the educational team have extensively researched the science of how the brain processes information, best utilizes that information, and now have developed a user-friendly technology, which we teach you. The system is both complex and yet simple to implement. Having the proven skills and tools for communicating at a deeper understanding of how information is sent and received allows you, the Certified Results Coach, to quickly assess the roots of a challenge, and then know how to bring about the change that is required for success.

What are the Leading Causes of Anxiety?

  • work stress or job change
  • change in living arrangements
  • pregnancy and giving birth
  • family and relationship problems
  • major emotional shock following a stressful or traumatic event
  • physical and emotional abuses or trauma

What Causes Panic Attacks?

It’s not specifically known what causes panic attacks or panic disorder, but these factors may play a role:

  • Genetics
  • Major stress
  • Temperament that is more sensitive to stress or prone to negative emotions
  • Certain changes in the way parts of your brain function

What are the Main Causes of Phobias?

Leading causes of phobias:

Based on the above information, obviously, there are times when medical or psychological intervention is helpful or warranted. Yet, in many cases, a qualified coach has the needed tools, resources, and processes to help clients eliminate the feelings associated with fear, anxiety, etc.

As a Certified Results Coach, you use a very strategic combination of coaching techniques including, Hemispheric Integration, NLP, Age Regression Processes, Anchors Away Process, and a Circle of Excellence. Done collectively and progressively, you will guide your clients through an exploration of their beliefs, values, self-talk, and imprinted patterns that created the phobias, etc.

The best part of the Results Coaching Process is that it is ecological, meaning it’s good for the person now and in the future.  No bad things emerge.  It either works a little or a lot. It won’t make things worse.  Only better.

Another aspect of modifying self-talk is the use of affirmations.  Establishing powerful and effective affirmations that have personal significance is a key aspect of the entire profess.

Some examples of common and useful affirmations include the following:

  • I am successful.
  • I am confident.
  • I am powerful.
  • I am strong.
  • I am getting better and better every day.
  • All I need is within me right now.
  • I wake up motivated.
  • I am an unstoppable force of nature.

Affirmations that are related to overcoming past experiences with PTSD, phobias, and anxiety may sound more like these:

  • I know when and how to stay calm
  • When else could this be/mean?
  • I am confident in the face of fear
  • I notice my breath relaxing
  • I feel my body becoming calm
  • I like how relaxed I feel right now

So, who is best suited to offer this type of coaching?

People who are patient, calm, empathetic, and good communicators are the best candidates for Results Coaching Certification.  There are no specific correlations between success as a coach and any particular previous education or vocation.
